Heritage Village Sea Lions

Hi HV! My name is Charlotte Mantel and I am so excited to be co-head coach and 8U coach! This will be my 5th year as an HV coach and I can't be any happier! I have been swimming since I was 4, competitive swimming since I was 6, and was a 3 time varsity swimmer for the Littleton Lions. I have also worked at SwimLabs for 3 years! Other than swimming, I love art, reading, and math. I am planning to go to college as a biomedical engineer! I am so excited to see all your children and watch them swim! My goal for this season is to try to build passion for swimming in your kids, as it has been one of my biggest passions in life so far.

Hello HV Sea Lions and Parents! My name is Ella Peterson and this year I am so excited to be co-head coaching with Charlotte, coaching the 11-12s, running the sea pups and working with the coaches in training. This will be my 4th year as a coach, but I have been swimming on the team since I was 4 years old. I have been doing year round club swimming for around 11 years and I am a 4 time varsity swimmer at Littleton High School. I'm looking forward to using my experience to help your children grow in their talents and their love for the sport! Other than swimming, I love spending time outside, going to concerts, reading, and being with my friends. I hope to eventually become a pediatric occupational therapist but where I'm going to school is yet to be determined! This year, I hope that we, as coaches, can create a positive environment where your kids want to be everyday and that we can help them build confidence, advance their skills and find a passion for the sport. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you in the upcoming months!

Hey Sea Lions! My name is Ryan, and I'm super excited to be coaching the 13-18s this season alongside Tyler West! This will be my 5th year coaching, and I'm also in my 2nd year working at SwimLabs as both an instructor and a video analysis coach for more competitive swimmers. I've been swimming summer league since I was 6 years old, have been competing in competitive club swimming for 9 years, and swam varsity for 3 years at Littleton High School, so I absolutely love everything about swimming! Outside of the pool, I enjoy playing and watching all kinds of sports, camping with my family, exploring nature, spending time with friends, and doing photography. Hello Sea Lions and parents, my name is Tyler West and I am so excited to be returning this year to coach the 13-18s! This will be my third year coaching, but I have been a Sea Lion since I was 6. In the fall I will be a senior at Littleton High School. I swam competitively for 6 years and was a 2 time state qualifier for the Littleton High School boys team. When I am not swimming you can find me running or hanging out with my friends. I am so excited to see all of the kids and watch them grow, not only as swimmers, but as humans as well. Swimming has been such a big part of my life and I'm excited to make it part of someone else's as well. I can't wait for the season to start! Go Sea Lions!

Hi HV Sea Lions! My name is Rhiana Mantle and I'm so excited to be coaching the 11-12s this year! This is my second year coaching and I'm so happy to get the chance to share memories summer swim brings with the kids. I have been on the team for 11 years as well as 2 years of high school swim at Arapahoe. Outside of swimming I have played competitive soccer since I was 5. Apart from sports, I enjoy rafting, camping, art, reading, and spending time with friends. I can't wait to watch the kids grow, not just as swimmers but as people too. Summer swim has really made me who I am and I hope the kids can experience that too. I'm so excited for the season to start. Go Sea Lions!

Hi!! I'm Ellery, and I'm so excited to be coaching the 9-10s this season! This will be my fourth year as a coach, and I've been swimming on this team for eight years. I also swam varsity at Arapahoe High School all four years and competed in club swimming for several years.

Outside of swimming, I love to hang out with friends, go to concerts, and shop. In the fall, I'll be attending the University of South Carolina, where I plan to major in Fashion Merchandising. if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Hi Sea Lions! My name is Zander Weren and I'm very excited to be back again this year! I go to Arapahoe High School where I do swimming and water polo. I started swimming with the Sea Lions when I was 5 years old and have loved it ever since! The Sea Lions quickly turned me into the swimmer I am today!

Hi Sea Lions! My name is Sarah Henderson and I am super excited to be one of our 9-10's coaches this year! This will be my second year coaching for HV and I also work as an instructor at SwimLabs. Hello HV! My name is Tucker Gordanier and this will be my 2nd year coaching, but I've been swimming since I was 6. I am going to be coaching the 8 and under age group with Charlotte Mantel! I started competitive swimming when I was 9 with Aquawolves, but I am currently on Slipstream with Ryan Newton. I also have been swimming varsity with Arapahoe High School for two years now, so if you have any questions, you can ask me. When I'm not swimming, I'm usually playing tennis or hanging out with my friends. Swimming has always been my favorite hobby in my life, and I'm excited for such a fun season with you guys!

Hi everyone, my name is Phoebe Purchase! This is my first year coaching for HV, so I will likely be helping all around. I'm an upcoming sophomore at Arapahoe High School. I have swam with this team since I was in Sea Pups and have always found it really special to be a Sea Lion! I can't wait to get to know the kids in this neighborhood better as I love babysitting and spending time with kids. Besides swimming, I love to play field hockey and lacrosse, which I do through my school, hangout with my friends, and go on runs. I also plan to be a lifeguard for the pool this summer. I'm super passionate about and love to swim, so I really look forward to being a coach this season!

Hi HV Sea Lions! I’m Avery Weren, and I’m so excited to be a Coach in Training this summer! I’ll be a freshman at Arapahoe High School in the fall, where I’ll be swimming and playing field hockey.

I started swimming with the Sea Lions as a Sea Pup at 4 and fell in love with the team right away. I’m so excited to give back by helping our swimmers, supporting the coaches, and bringing lots of energy and fun to the pool!

Hi, my name is Liam McMillan, and I’m 14 years old. I will be going to Arapahoe High School this fall. I have been a member of the HVSL swim team for six years now. From the moment I joined, I knew that swimming was something I truly enjoyed and wanted to do for the rest of my life. I’ve also been a competitive swimmer for four years with two different clubs. - Aqua Wolves and Slipstream. When I’m not in the water, I usually play soccer. This experience has given me the opportunity to referee games, which has allowed me to help younger kids learn the sport. I am really looking forward to using these skills to help coach this summer. Hi! I'm Elin Anderson and I am excited to be a Coach in Training this summer. I will be graduating from Newton Middle School in May and will be a freshman at Arapahoe High School in the fall. I have been an HV Sea Lion since I was 5 years old, swam on the Slipstream club team for two years, and am currently swimming year round with Club Greenwood. My favorite stroke is butterfly and some of my favorite summertime memories are swim meets with my friends, the 4th of July parade float, and celebrating at the end of year swim team banquet. I look forward to being a part of the HVSL staff this summer!
