Please see the RMSL Bylaws for all SJ and SR info, here are some guidelines to take note of:
- First time stroke judges must attend the Beginner Stroke Judge Clinic.
- Returning Stroke Judges may attend any of the Stroke Judge trainings.
- You may receive an exemption from the executive board if you submit a written request within one week of the classes. You must watch the training videos provided on the RMSL Website.
- Must attend a class the following year
- Starter Refs must attend the Starter Ref Clinic each year
- Must legibly sign in at your class and with team name
- USA Certified Stroke Judges and Starter Refs in good standing are exempt from taking the class.
- Parent Reps from each individual team are responsible for keeping track of their own Stroke Judges, verifying they are certified, submitting exemptions to RMSL board
- No Testing
- All stroke judges must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- All stroke judges and starters must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the League to judge or start a prelim or final meet, unless otherwise approved by the Executive Board. If a stroke judge or starter/ref has finished their second season of dual meets they shall be eligible to judge at prelims and finals that same year.
