Hi Sea Lions!

We are so excited about the upcoming July 4th festivities!

Parade: Just a few reminders about Sea Lions who want to participate in the parade on the HV Sea Lions floats:

• Please arrive at the upper pool by 10:45. The parade starts at 11. Coaches and volunteers will help you determine where your kids need to go. (9-year-olds will be on heating benches on the trailers. 10+ kids will ride in the back of trucks.)
• Children 7 years old and younger are not allowed on the swim team floats. Children participating in the parade must be able to stay on the floats for the entire duration of the parade, so please be sure your child knows what they are signing up for. They cannot leave the parade vehicle halfway through the parade under any circumstances for safety reasons.
• All parents will need to be at the upper pool at the end of the parade so kids can easily find them after the parade is over.
• Kids should bring water guns, but water balloons are not allowed.

Pool games:

The pool games start at 2:00 p.m. at the upper pool. Prizes will be awarded for each category:

• Belly flop contest
• Boat races:
  • 8U-12
  • 13+
