HV Sea Lion's Volunteering INFO *Please Read & Save*

    Good morning parents of HVSL swimmers,

    Now that our season has fully kicked off, we’d like to share some information about the volunteer jobs which each family is required to fulfill. This is a vital part to the success of our team, and it truly does take a village.

    If you did not meet the required 6 points during registration, you have been placed in any available open job. 

    Here are some other important reminders:

    • If you signed up to donate $40 for concessions, please send your payment:
      • Via Venmo to @Cherie-Weren last 4 digits of the phone are 6548 or
      • Via Check made out to HVSL
      • Payment Due Date: Thursday, May 28, 2025
    • We will send out a weekly volunteer remind by end of day Wednesday each week with specific instructions for volunteer requirements for the upcoming meet.
    • It is your responsibility to find a replacement if you are unable to complete your assignment. If you trade or swap, please let me know ASAP so we can update the volunteer log.
    • If you do not show up for your required shift or do not provide a suitable substitute, you will forfeit your $250 volunteer deposit.
    • On the day of the meets, you must check in with the volunteer check-in representative.
    • **THIS IS HELPFUL** In additional to the weekly reminder, you can view all your volunteer requirements in 3 different ways:
      • SwimTopia App: Download the app if you have not done so then look under UPCOMING to see all upcoming events including volunteer assignments. Alternatively, you can click on your name to see just your assignments.
      • Main HVSL SwimTopia website: Go to WELCOME [YOUR NAME] (in the top right-hand corner) then select MY ACCOUNT from the drop down to see your volunteer requirements.
      • Main HVSL SwimTopia website: Go to Volunteer Info then Family Assignments to see the master as well as the weekly lists.
    • Please refer to the Parent Handbook on the HVSL Swimtopia website for job descriptions.
